Dr. Yuxuan Miao (Phoenix)'s laboratory is affiliated with the Ben May Department of Cancer Research and the Comprehensive Cancer Center at The University of Chicago. The central research focus of the Miao Lab is to examine the intimate dialogues between the barrier tissue stem cells and the immune system during both wound repair and cancer progression, with the ultimate goal of leveraging the crosstalk to develop novel immunotherapies for tissue regeneration and cancers.
