The lab combines sophisticated mouse genetic models with a cutting edge in utero lentivirus microinjection technique. This approach provides additional dimensions of genetic manipulations and affords us the unique advantage to deliver sophisticated genetic elements and to interrogate gene functions directly and rapidly in live mice.
We also employ functional genomic, computational biology, advanced imaging, in vivo genome editing and quantitative immunological approaches to examine the unique epigenetic, metabolic and signaling features of stem cells to interact with immune system.
